amu (Amirreza Amouie / アムイ アミルレザ / امیررضا عمویی) is a Tokyo-based artist and engineer whose work explores the intersections of technology, performance, sound, and human experience.

Since 2016, through music, custom-built instruments, installations, software, and live events, amu has created systems that transform abstract emotions into shared experiences. The work explores memory, identity, connection, and the evolving relationship between people and technology, seeking ways to make care, wonder, and human connection more tangible and shareable.

Alongside independent artistic practice, amu develops performances and community events that bring together artists, engineers, musicians, and curious minds to explore new forms of collaboration, expression, and collective discovery.
